About the Event

Rachel Jimenez is a counselor specializing in prenatal and postpartum issues such as miscarriage/loss, anxiety and depression in the prenatal and postpartum period, and birth trauma.

She will be discussing many of the unique issues that can arise during the child-bearing years. We will look at the emotional impact of fertility challenges, including infertility and loss.

We'll also address anxiety, depression and related mental health concerns that can arise during pregnancy and postpartum with signs, symptoms, and risk factors.

Birth trauma, which happens for 1 in 3 women giving birth, will also be discussed, along with risk factors, protective measures, and ways to recover.

And finally we'll talk about partners; how they can be supportive and also consider the support they may need.

Also, join us in Birth Connect FB Group to continue these talks among peers and catch the replay of any of our sessions.

Join us virtually on FB LIVE or 10 spaces available in Studio for q&a.
