Restorative yoga allows our body to relax and release as we are gently propped into a yogic position.
A theme will be set. Soft meditative music will be playing.
By using blocks, bolsters, pillows, and blankets the instructor will have you align yourself in a comfortable position.
The instructor may gently massage and assist you in anchoring deeper into a relaxed state through touch or a weighted sand bag.
Gently unfold and find stillness at the end of this practice in a long cocooned shavasana- the final resting asana.
